01X, Logic and AW4416 Anybody?
perhaps by the time this gets read and answered i will have tried my idea.
i slave my 01X to Logic via firewire and i use the Global Patchbay.
i plan to use recorded tracks on my AW4416 and was thinking i could set the MTC MIDI wordclock to "slave" and connect to the 01X. the transport and on/off and select buttons on 01X should control the 4416.
my main desire was to have playback tracks in sync with my playback and recording with Logic.
eventually i may use AWExtract more to grab WAV and import into Logic, but already i would prefer to shoot 8 discreet tracks via ADAT on my Y56K to my PCI ADAT card in PC, then drag 'n drop the WAV over the LAN to the Mac.
anyhow, anybody who has sync'd up 4416 [wordclock slave] to 01X [wordclock slave] to mLAN to Logic7/8/9 let me know. much appreciated.

I have a setup similar to what you have and can confirm that syncing the AW with mLAN works. There is no one way to do this, but it does work.
