do direct outs going to the mac
strange...
okay, so I eeked out a couple of extra weeks using mLAN on my OctoPro by yanking out the eSATA card (300 bucks down the drain...).
so, my rig is this...
o1x, all 24 mLAN outputs go to inputs 1-24 on the mac.
there's an i88x, these go to inputs 9-16 (mlan 1-8) on the o1x,
there's an Motif ES8, whose stereo outputs go the input 23-24 on the o1x (mlan 15-16). In between there are some ADAT-fed channels from an ADA8000.
if I monitor on the o1x, mLAN is working... what I mean is I can monitor inputs 1-8 on the o1x itself or any channel over mLAN.
From the mac outputs, I route just a stereo pair to inputs 1-2 of the i88x, and simultaneously take that stereo pair to inputs 17-18 on the o1x. Both work
what's not working?
the direct outs of the o1x. Nothing gets to the inputs of the mac.
Direct Outs are configured to pre-EQ *and* all 24 channels are set to ON on the o1x.
This has always worked and I've never seen it not work. and as such, I have no idea what's wrong (with me? :-))
any ideas anyone?

Are you speaking of the 8 AD Ins on the 01X that should be feeding 1-8 on the streams you have running from 01X into Mac?
Is it possible that you have flipped some settings on the 01X's routing? Perhaps you can see what's going on if you use SM2.... Output Patch page of the Patch Editor.
Feel free to share screen grabs of your routing, as well as your patching.

actually, not only 1-8, but 1-8 and ml1 thru ml16 weren't going to the mac, even though everything other than the internal 8 originate outside of the o1x itself.
literally all the pieces worked, only nothing was geting from the o1x to the mac.
hard reset of the o1x fixed it.
strange.
